Inchiku jigs are very easy to use and often over complicated techniques will just complicate an uncomplicated product. Either slow wind it up off the bottom waiting for subtle bites or just put the rod in the rod holder and let the swell and rock of the boat work the jig. The assist hooks are small but strong and don't need to be replaced if fishing for snappers, mulloway and pearl perch.
