Hareline Stonfo Plastic Double Spring Retractor

Description:

What it is

A compact tool retractor with a plastic body and a double spring mechanism that keeps steady coiled tension as you pull a tool out and let it return. Its lightweight, durable, and built to resist rust and corrosion for day-to-day fishing and tying use.

What to tie with it

This isnt a tying material for the hook; its a bench-and-on-the-water tool keeper. Clip it to your vest, bag, or a belt loop, then use the snaps to keep small tools like nippers, scissors, knot tools, or a line straightener right where you can grab them and let them retract back out of the way.

Flies and the fish they're for

This retractor doesnt go into any specific fly pattern, but it supports the flies you fish by keeping your cutting and rigging tools accessible while youre changing tippets, trimming materials, or swapping flies. That matters whether youre cycling through trout nymphs and dries on a river, or changing leaders and streamers for bass, stripers, or redfish where youre constantly grabbing nippers and pliers-adjacent tools.
