Description:
The 280X is the next-generation evolution of the legendary 280C, refined to provide "split-second" communication between you and your dog. Designed with a "human-first" interface, it ensures that your focus remains on your dog's behavior rather than fumbling with a remote. Whether you are working on off-leash recall in the field or refining manners at home, the 280X delivers a precise, consistent signal in a package built to survive the "elements."
Key Features:
- Intuitive Command Interface: The front-and-center command button is strategically placed for "no-look" operation. This allows you to maintain total attention on your dog, ensuring you catch every teaching moment the instant it happens.
- Three Modes of Communication:
- Tone & Vibration: Ideal for non-stimulating alerts or "pager" style communication for dogs that are already well-conditioned.
- 127 Levels of Stimulation: Provides a "gradual" dial to find the perfect "working level" for your dog's specific temperament.
- BOOST Feature: A dedicated button for an immediate, pre-set increase in stimulation. This is essential for "emergency" recall when a dog is highly distracted or in a dangerous situation.
- Safety Level Lock: Prevents accidental increases in stimulation. Once you find your dog's ideal level, you can "lock" it in place, giving you peace of mind during high-movement activities like hiking or training.
- Integrated E-Collar Light: A high-visibility light on the receiver allows you to keep track of your dog in low-light conditions perfect for late-evening walks or early-morning field work.
- Rugged "Adventure-Proof" Build: The entire system is fully waterproof (IPX9K rated) and drop-proof, making it reliable for dogs that love to swim, run through heavy brush, or work in the rain.
