Description:
The SoniCor Stealth Edition is engineered with a "comfort-first" philosophy, acknowledging that ice fishing is often a game of endurance in harsh conditions. This combo focuses on reducing the physical toll of a long day on the hard water by pairing a lightweight, DIGI-balanced reel with an ergonomically designed rod. The new Stealth Edition brings a sleek, professional blacked-out look to this highly approachable and durable setup.
Key Features:
- Ergonomic "True Touch" Interface: The combo is built around the "True Touch" handle and contoured knob, specifically shaped to fit the natural curvature of the hand. This reduces the strain typically associated with the repetitive motions of jigging or holding a rod for hours in the cold.
- Solid Fiberglass Blank: The rod utilizes a solid fiberglass construction, offering a high strength-to-weight ratio. This material is incredibly resilient against the "cold-shatter" that can plague graphite in extreme temperatures, providing a durable backbone that doesn't feel heavy in the hand.
- DIGI-Balanced Gear System: The reel features a 1-ball bearing (1BB) system with DIGI-balanced gearing. This ensures the rotor spins without the "wobble" often found in budget reels, resulting in a smoother retrieve and better line management.
- Lightweight Graphite Architecture: Both the reel body and rotor are constructed from lightweight graphite. This complements the fiberglass rod to create a balanced unit that minimizes wrist fatigue, allowing for more precise lure manipulation.
- Stainless Steel Guides: Outfitted with stainless steel guides and polished inserts, the rod is ready for the friction of braided or fluorocarbon lines and allows for quick clearing of ice crystals.
