Description:
A new sensation of cage fishing with light tackle. A lightweight and compact cage-only machine.
The popular short-stroke cage long-distance casting reel has been renewed with a new thread-drop prevention mechanism.
The power T knob allows for powerful winding even when dealing with red sea bream and small bluefish. In addition, the "ATD" is installed, so you can safely deal with large fish.
ZAION body x 25mm stroke
The body uses ZAION to reduce the weight of the entire body.
In addition, the spool, which has a large impact on tackle balance, has been thoroughly lightweighted.
The compact surf reel unique to the 25mm stroke supports comfortable casting fishing.
Equipped with a new thread-drop prevention mechanism (further evolved from the conventional mechanism)
The short skirt spool, which is prone to line trouble, is equipped with a unique thread-drop prevention mechanism.
Prevents line from entering the main shaft. Adopts a structure that wraps the line around the spool when the line falls.
It is now possible to loosen the drag and pull it out while the bail is closed, improving trouble recovery.
*Note: If the above method does not work, remove the spool and release the line tangle.
Spool compatibility
Spool compatibility is also cited as an advantage of Daiwa cage reels.
When casting long distances with cage reels, the main line is frequently replaced depending on the situation, so spool compatibility is one of the essential features.
*Part of the compatibility is maintained by the new thread drop prevention mechanism.
MAGSEALED
Daiwa's unique waterproof structure shuts out seawater and dust by creating a magnetic oil wall in the gap between the body and rotor.
Since the body and rotor are non-contact, the initial rotation performance is maintained for a long time while maintaining light and smooth rotation.
Most of the causes of abnormal rotation noise are salt and foreign matter. Except for cases where the reel is accidentally dropped into water, the rate of abnormal rotation noise in Magsealed reels is significantly reduced.
Moreover, this ratio is appearing in the data as a larger difference as time passes. This means that the longer it is used, the more effective it becomes.
In other words, it is proof that the dustproof and waterproof capabilities of Magseal are at a very high level.
ATD [Automatic Drag System]
A new generation drag system that smoothly follows the pull of the fish and continues to work.
It starts off smoother than before, so it is less likely to break the line, and it is less likely to make the fish feel uncomfortable, so it is less likely to move around unnecessarily.
In addition, the unique stickiness of the operation reduces the chance of the fish running away all at once even at low drag settings, and the frequency of drag readjustment during the fight is reduced, allowing you to concentrate on the fight.
AIR ROTOR [Air Rotor]
An air rotor with a revolutionary structure that can be called a ``rotor revolution.'' The optimal rim structure distributes the load, improving rotor durability.
As a result, the rotor is approximately 15% lighter with the same strength. The rotor balance is also improved, contributing to further improving the rotation feel.
The material used is Daiwa's unique ``DS5 (fiber-reinforced special plastic for reels).''
ZAION [Zion]
A carbon resin with high density carbon fibers woven into it, it is light, strong, and resistant to corrosion.
A material that makes the impossible possible, surpassing magnesium in terms of strength to weight.
It is used in the main parts such as the body and rotor, contributing to the realization of the trade-off between high rigidity and light weight.
Digigear II
Daiwa's proprietary digital design technology "Digigear" has evolved even further.
In order to realize the ideal tooth surface derived from digital analysis, ultra-high precision machine cutting technology is used, achieving tooth surface precision several times higher than that of forged gears.
The drive gear is specially wrapped to achieve the optimal balance between the pinion gear and the drive gear, improving durability.
DS5 (rotor material)
A fiber-reinforced special plastic created exclusively for reels using Daiwa's proprietary technology.
Foldable aluminum machine-cut handle
A high-rigidity machine-cut handle that provides a stable winding feel. Foldable for excellent portability.
Cross wrap
A method of winding in a cross to prevent the line from biting into the spool winding section or the line from slipping by adopting a twill winding method with a large winding angle.
The reduction in line trouble is particularly noticeable when using thin thread or PE line, and at the same time, a comfortable flight is achieved.
Air Veil
The smooth veil shape allows the line to flow smoothly to the line roller, dramatically reducing line tangle problems.
Furthermore, the hollow structure achieves a significant increase in strength without changing the weight.
Twist Buster II
By tapering the line roller and rolling the line, it offsets the line twist caused by the rotor rotation.
The line twist, which was said to be the fate of spinning reels, has been greatly eliminated. It drastically reduces line trouble and realizes comfortable fishing.
Shower washable
It can be washed with running water. (After washing, maintenance according to the instruction manual is required)
Cast lock manual return
When the veil is opened during casting, the rotor rotation is locked, preventing unexpected veil reversal during casting.
For safety reasons, the veil is returned manually using a manual return method.
New thread drop prevention mechanism
It prevents the line from falling off the spool and getting caught between the spool and the rotor.
