Hareline Fly Tying Led Light

Description:

What it is

Hareline Fly Tying LED Light is a cordless, lightweight LED task light built for the fly-tying bench. It throws a bright beam you can zoom, and the flexible gooseneck with 360 adjustment lets you put light exactly where your hands and hook are. With up to an 8-hour runtime, its made to be portable without giving up working light.

What to tie with it

This is for illumination when youre doing detailed tying work at the vise, especially steps like setting small proportions, inspecting thread wraps, and finishing heads cleanly. Because it can be vise-mounted and aimed from multiple angles, you can light the hook point, the tie-in area, or the far side of the shank to cut down on shadows while you stack, spin, dub, palmer, or whip finish. The zoomable beam is handy when you want a tight spot on the hook eye or a wider wash over your materials.

Flies and the fish they're for

Even though this isnt a fly material, it shows up in the kinds of sessions where youre tying everything from tiny trout flies to big saltwater patterns and you need clean, shadow-free light on the hook. On trout flies youre typically using it to see fine thread control and small tie-in points; on bass, striper, and redfish streamers it helps when youre managing bulkier materials and keeping heads neat and durable. It also fits the common bench need for bright, clear coverage across the vise area, and tyers often use this kind of adjustable LED light when theyre photographing finished flies.
