Hareline Stonfo Joint Block

Description:

What it is

The Hareline Stonfo Joint Block is a durable, modular organizer block that clamps onto your vise to help tidy up your tying station. Its built to be customizable and user-friendly, letting you position multiple accessories right where your hands want them instead of scattered across the bench.

What to tie with it

This isnt a tying material you wrap on a hook; its a workspace tool that supports the techniques you use every day. Clamp it to the vise and use it to hold and position up to four accessories at once so your bobbin, parachute tool, and other helpers stay fixed at the angle and distance you like. Its also handy for bringing the vise head closer to you and for general tool-and-material organization while you tie.

Flies and the fish they're for

Because its a bench organizer rather than a hook material, it doesnt show up in specific fly recipes. Where it pays off is when youre tying patterns that benefit from controlled thread and material handling, like parachute-style dries where a bobbin-parachute attachment can be locked in place for cleaner posts and wraps. That kind of tying commonly covers trout flies for rivers and spring creeks, but the Joint Block itself is about making the tying process smoother no matter what species youre building flies for.
