RIO Products Premier Rio Gold Fly Line

Description:

Long leaders, picky trout, and a mix of dry flies and dry-dropper rigs call for a line that carries a lot of line in the air without getting splashy up front. RIOs Premier Gold is that kind of trout taper. RIO positions it as a standard-weight, standard-power line with a longer head than their XP and MAX lines, aimed at long, accurate casts.

In the WF5F, RIO lists a 47-foot head and a 5-foot 6-inch front taper for a softer presentation. Across the sizes we stock, the concept stays the same: a longer-head, longer back-taper profile meant more for control and carry than for quick, heavy loading with big rigs.
