Simms Men’s Fall Run Insulated Vest

Description:

Cold starts and light rain call for insulation that still works when it gets damp. The Simms Mens Fall Run Insulated Vest is a lightweight, packable layer meant to take the edge off without the bulk of a jacket. It uses PrimaLoft insulation, and Simms treats it for water repellency so it keeps insulating when its damp from rain or heavy activity. It can be worn on its own in mild conditions, or under a waterproof, breathable shell when you need more weather protection. Simms also notes it compresses down small, which matters if it spends more time in a daypack or sling pack than on your body.
