Use it when your water-based head cement starts getting too thick in the bottle and you need it to flow and level again. Its for fine-tuning how cement penetrates thread wraps and builds a neat, smooth head without getting gummy.
Flies and the fish they're for
This isnt a fly material that shows up in a specific pattern recipe, but it supports any pattern where you finish with water-based head cement. That includes freshwater trout flies where you want a lighter, more delicate finish on small heads, as well as bass and panfish bugs where youre still sealing thread and locking in durability without stepping into harsher, chemical-based cements.
