Hareline Stash Flash Pods

Description:

What it is

Hareline Stash Flash Pods are an organizer pod built for fly-tying fibers, especially the long, flashy stuff that tends to tangle in bags. Each pod is set up for 6-inch material and has 20 separate compartments so you can keep different fibers separated and ready. The back is adhesive so you can mount it to a bench, drawer, or wall panel and keep your flash where you tie.

What to tie with it

This isnt a tying fiber you put on the hook; its bench storage that keeps your flash and similar long synthetics tidy so you can grab a pinch and get right back to stacking, blending, or tying it in. Its a handy place for things you tie in as wing flash, lateral lines, or accents in streamer and baitfish patterns, and it also works well for post yarn so your dry-fly and indicator materials arent floating around the bench.

Flies and the fish they're for

Stash Flash Pods help if you tie a lot of flash-heavy baitfish patterns, because you can keep materials like Kreelex and Krystal Flash separated and within reach while you build wings and add highlights. That kind of flash shows up constantly in Clouser-style and other minnow streamers that get fished for smallmouth in rivers, stripers in moving water and lakes, and redfish on the flats, where a little sparkle can help a fly read as bait. Its also useful on the trout side when youre tying attractor nymphs and streamers that use a few strands of flash, because you can pull consistent amounts without digging through bags.
