Hareline Veevus Mini Flat Braid

Description:

What it is

Hareline Veevus Mini Flat Braid is a small, flat braided tying material meant to be wrapped on the hook as a smooth, low-profile strand. Because its a braid, it lays down with a clean edge-to-edge wrap and builds an even surface quickly without getting bulky.

What to tie with it

Use it like you would any flat braid or flat tinsel: as a body wrap, a rib, or a collar where you want a sleek, uniform band. Its a natural fit for wrapping tight segmented bodies, building neat thoraxes on smaller patterns, and adding a subtle banded effect with open or touching turns.

Flies and the fish they're for

No specific patterns were provided in the facts for this material. In practice, mini flat braids get used on small nymphs and wet flies for trout in rivers and tailwaters when you want a smooth, durable body, and on small baitfish-style streamers for bass when a clean, thin body helps keep the fly from getting too thick.
